It all began with a journey—a journey back to the motherland, where the sun doesn’t just shine—it dominates. Picture this: two sisters, as different as night and day, venturing into the heart of the desert to visit their father’s side of the family. They were reconnecting with their roots in the vast desert regions of Southern Iran during the sweltering month of August. Not just any August, mind you, but in Ahvaz—a city that proudly (or painfully) holds the title for some of the hottest temperatures ever recorded on Earth!

The Lifesaving Elixir

One sister thrived in the heat, soaking it up like a desert cactus. The other? Let’s just say she was melting faster than an ice cube in a frying pan. After a day of exploring the vibrant streets of Ahvaz, the heat had officially won. Enter: their wise and loving aunt, who swooped in like a culinary superhero with a mysterious, cooling elixir. A few sips later, the sisters felt like they’d been hit with a wave of pure refreshment. Their energy surged, their bodies cooled, and their curiosity exploded.

What is this magic?” they asked, wide-eyed.

The answer? Khakshir aka “Earth’s Milk”—tiny, unassuming seeds with the power to transform heat fatigue into pure vitality. These seeds, a well-kept secret of Persian tradition, had been a summer staple for generations. But for the sisters, raised in sunny California with Persian roots, this was a revelation. Why hadn’t they heard of this before? Why weren’t Americans sipping on this ancient super-drink?

And so began the obsession…

The sisters dove headfirst into a world of research, uncovering the many names, benefits, and global love for these miraculous seeds. From the Middle East to South Asia, people had been enjoying khakshir for centuries. But in the U.S.? Crickets. That’s when the lightbulb moment hit: What if we brought this to America?

The name PARSEEDS is a nod to their Persian heritage and the magical seeds that started it all—PARS for Persia, and SEEDS for the tiny powerhouses that inspired their journey.
